About
Jacksonville
Box & Woodwork
Company, Inc.
Jacksonville
Box & Woodwork Co., Inc. was established in 1948 by
J. B. King and his brother S. J. (Buddy) King. They
began by making wooden fish boxes for the seafood industry,
breadboxes for the bakery industry and citrus boxes
for the orange grove owners. In 1963 we began manufacturing
and serving the moving and storage industry by supplying
storage vaults, type II containers, office carts, library
carts, sofa boxes, the JB metal rolling sofa racks,
and rug boxes. Over the years the name of Jacksonville
Box has become synonymous with quality and service.
We are known as a company that goes the extra mile to
try and meet our customers needs.
Chip King, the son of founder J. B. King, has now assumed responsibility for the
operation of the company and continues the standard of
quality and service that has made it the leader in the
industry.
